Closerly (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the Closerly mobile application (“App”). By using Closerly, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
- Name and email address when you sign in using Google Sign-In
- Room codes used to create or join private couple rooms
- User preferences such as selected game levels or settings
- We do not collect messages, answers, or game responses outside of real-time gameplay. These remain private between partners and are not stored permanently.
B. Automatically Collected Information
We collect limited technical data to improve the app:
- Device type and operating system
- App usage events
- Crash logs
- Anonymous analytics data
This data is collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and operate real-time couple rooms
- Authenticate users
- Maintain app functionality
- Improve performance and stability
- Detect bugs and crashes
- Communicate important updates if necessary
- We do not use your data for advertising or marketing tracking.

5. Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. This action is permanent and irrevocable.
How to Delete Your Account:
- In-App: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account to permanently remove your data.
- Web Request: Visit our Account Deletion Page to process your request without opening the app.
Data Removed: Account profile (Name, Email), game history, room connections, and preferences. Some anonymized technical logs may remain briefly for system stability but cannot be linked back to you.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Payments are processed securely by:
- Google Play Store (Android)
- Apple App Store (iOS)
We do not store your payment information.
7. Age Requirement
Closerly is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Your Rights
You may:
- Request deletion of your account data (see Section 5)
- Withdraw consent for analytics collection by uninstalling the app
